Two Pillars Of Care

Two pillars, one commitment to quality

PILLAR 01

Occupational Assessments & Clinical Reports

Comprehensive, evidence-based assessments for children, adolescents, adults and older people. Each assessment considers the participant's functional needs, context, goals and priorities.

Reports are developed with clear clinical reasoning and practical recommendations, providing consistent information to support NDIS-related decisions, support planning and other clinical or functional needs.

  • Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
  • NDIS Access and Plan Review assessments
  • Medico-Legal assessments
  • Assistive Technology assessments
  • Minor Home Modification assessments
  • Other complex functional assessments, tailored to each participant's needs

PILLAR 02

Paediatric Occupational Therapy

Child- and family-centred care to support participation, independence and development in everyday activities.

Intervention is individualised, practical and goal-oriented, with close collaboration between family, educators and other professionals involved in the child's care.

  • Emotional regulation and sensory processing
  • Fine and gross motor development
  • Play and participation in meaningful activities
  • School readiness and participation
  • Routines, self-care and independence in daily activities
  • Practical strategies for home, school and community
A note on paediatric availability

Navi currently has limited availability for new ongoing in-clinic paediatric appointments, as the schedule is largely full. This reflects current availability — not a lower priority for this service within the practice.

Specialised Services

Specialised services that extend our support

Beyond the two core pillars, Navi offers services that complement a comprehensive, evidence-based clinical practice.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Clinical Supervision for Occupational Therapists

One-on-one clinical supervision for new graduates, early-career professionals and community Occupational Therapists looking to strengthen clinical reasoning, assessment skills, report writing and professional confidence.

Supervision combines reflective practice, clinical experience and evidence-based guidance, tailored to each therapist's stage of practice.

FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT

Assistive Technology & Home Modifications

Assessment, prescription, trial, implementation and review of assistive technology and minor home modifications, with a focus on safety, comfort, independence and everyday participation.

Recommendations consider functional goals, the environment and the sustainability of the solution — not just which piece of equipment to recommend.

PARTICIPATION & INDEPENDENCE

Functional Skills & Daily Living

Interventions to build independence in self-care, routines, executive functioning, social and community participation, and independent living skills.

Strategies are individualised and applied to real-life situations, prioritising activities that are meaningful to each person.
